PE - Polyethylene

High-pressure polyethylene is primarily used for film products, followed by pipes, injection-molded parts, and wire insulation coatings. Medium- and low-pressure polyethylene is mainly used for injection-molded parts and hollow products. Ultra-high-pressure polyethylene can be used as an engineering plastic.

Product Details

Polyethylene (polyethylene, abbreviated as PE) is a thermoplastic resin produced by the polymerization of ethylene. Polyethylene is odorless and non-toxic, feels waxy to the touch, and exhibits excellent low-temperature resistance (with a minimum service temperature as low as -100°C to -70°C). It boasts good chemical stability and can withstand the corrosion of most acids and bases (but is susceptible to attack by oxidizing acids). At room temperature, it is insoluble in common solvents, has low water absorption, and demonstrates outstanding electrical insulation properties.

High-pressure polyethylene is primarily used for film products, followed by pipes, injection-molded parts, and wire insulation layers. Medium- and low-pressure polyethylene is mainly used for injection-molded parts and hollow products. Ultra-high-pressure polyethylene can be used as an engineering plastic.
